In promoting and solidifying the pre-engineered, pre-fabricated metal structure market a group known as the Metal Building Manufacturer’s Association, or MBMA, has evolved into a very important organization. The aims of this association have been, and carry forward being, making sure that there is industry-wide affinity on protection and insurance regulations, ordinance use, and engineering guidelines. In the mid nineteen fifties the MBMA started in the continental United States with thirteen members and keeps at vigorous work into the 21st century.
